On the evening of March 29, Shengyuan Environmental Protection Co.Ltd(300867) announced that the company signed the cooperation agreement on the construction of Hydrogen Energy Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the “cooperation agreement”) with Youyan Industrial Research Institute to jointly promote the application and promotion of solid hydrogen storage materials and promote the industrial development of hydrogen energy storage.
According to the announcement, Youyan Industrial Research Institute is the authorized representative of the Chinese government of the hydrogen energy implementation agreement of the International Energy Agency and the chairman unit of the hydrogen energy professional committee of China Renewable Energy Society. Relying on the national non-ferrous new energy materials and products engineering center and Beijing non-ferrous new energy materials and products Engineering Center, it has different professional and technical capabilities covering solid hydrogen storage materials, hydrogen storage devices and so on.
According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides cooperate to build a hydrogen energy research institute in Fujian (hereinafter referred to as the “Institute”) to jointly promote the application of hydrogen energy technology according to the demand for new energy in the fields of ships, port special vehicles and distributed power generation in the region where Shengyuan Environmental Protection Co.Ltd(300867) is located. In addition, Shengyuan Environmental Protection Co.Ltd(300867) set up relevant industrial companies in Quanzhou, Xiamen and other places to undertake the research results of the Institute and realize its industrialization. As a partner, the Institute has the priority to participate in investment and equity for common development.
For this cooperation, Shengyuan Environmental Protection Co.Ltd(300867) said that it aims to give full play to the company’s industrial and resource advantages in new energy fields such as waste incineration power generation and scenery, as well as the technical advantages of the Institute in solid-state hydrogen storage, realize complementary advantages, jointly promote the application and promotion of solid-state hydrogen storage materials, and promote the industrial development of hydrogen energy storage.
