The relevant person in charge of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone in Fujian Province disclosed to China News Agency on the 26th that the Investment Promotion Committee of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone has signed a contract with Fuzhou rescue base of East China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of transport and Zhengli Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. to build “Lantai marine emergency rescue base”.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Investment Promotion Committee of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone, the Lantai marine emergency rescue base project is expected to start in December this year. The project meets the requirements of Pingtan marine economic development and will help fill the shortcomings of Pingtan marine rescue, improve emergency response and rescue capacity, and ensure the safety of people’s lives and property, social stability and economic development.
Fuzhou rescue base of East China Sea Rescue Bureau is a member unit of Fuzhou maritime search and rescue center and 110 social linkage. It undertakes the tasks of emergency rescue and emergency support in Putian, Pingtan, Fuzhou and Ningde sea areas, as well as the major special tasks designated by the superior. Zhengli Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. focuses on marine engineering water rescue and marine green energy services. It has become a backbone enterprise of modern ship manufacturing and assembly focusing on offshore wind power construction and taking into account offshore emergency rescue.
The project of Lantai maritime emergency rescue base was signed at the “one week signing” activity of the Investment Promotion Committee of Pingtan comprehensive experimental zone. Since the end of last year, Pingtan has signed 13 investment projects, including Fujian Jiangxi Geto New Materials Corporation Limited(300986) material production base, Fujian Chengzhong Taekwondo headquarters project and “Ocean Star” (Pingtan ocean Ranch) project, with a total planned investment of 4.145 billion yuan.
