BMW cooperates with Qualcomm and AZ to develop automatic driving
On March 25, BMW Group announced its long-term strategic cooperation with Qualcomm technologies and anzher software in the development of automatic driving technology. The three parties have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop the next generation of automatic driving technology, covering L2 level advanced driving assistance system and L3 level automatic driving function. At present, the latest BMW automatic software stack of BMW Group has taken the lead in carrying on the pure electric IX model. As early as November 2021, the three party has announced that BMW group’s next generation autopilot system will be based on Xiaolong Ride Snapdragon Ride Vision system-on-chip, including Arriver visual perception system and Xiaolong Ride platform computing controller. This cooperation will be committed to building a scalable autopilot platform based on common architecture, sensor suite, safety requirements, tool chain and autopilot Data Center for storage, reprocessing and simulation testing.

Daimler truck EBIT increased by 288% year on year
