At 4 p.m. on March 21, the first precast concrete box girder of the East approach bridge of hongqimen super large bridge in tj02 contract section of Nansha Zhongshan Expressway (hereinafter referred to as “Nanzhong expressway”) project was successfully erected, which also marks that the Nanzhong expressway project has fully entered the construction stage of precast box girder erection.

The superstructure of the East approach bridge of hongqimen super large bridge adopts 30m span stressed concrete small box girder with a span combination of 3 × 30+3 × 30 meters, 5 pieces for each of the left and right single spans. Among them, the top surface of the prefabricated middle beam is 2.4m wide, 1.8m high and weighs about 107.64t. The top surface of the prefabricated side beam is 2.85m wide, 1.8m high and weighs about 114.14t. The project department uses 300t and 450t truck cranes to erect the prefabricated small box girder of span 1-5 through double crane lifting.
It is reported that this is the first piece of box girder erection of Guangzhou section of Nanzhong expressway project. In order to ensure the safe and smooth erection of the box girder, China Railway Bridge Bureau, the contractor of the tj02 contract section of the South China expressway project, while doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control, actively organized the resumption of work and production, made detailed arrangements from the construction scheme to the implementation process, conducted several safety training and technical disclosure for industrial workers, and the project leader and technicians stationed on the site to supervise and guide the construction and correct the deviation in time, The successful erection of the head beam has laid a good foundation.
According to the relevant person in charge of China Railway Bridge Bureau, the South China expressway project is a major transportation infrastructure project in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan district. According to the plan, the South China expressway will be completed and opened to traffic simultaneously with the Shenzhen China corridor in 2024. The tj02 contract section of Nanzhong expressway project involved in this construction is 4211m long. It starts from Wanqingsha Town, Nansha District and crosses hongqili waterway, shazijiao, erjiaoli and other waterways to the West; The terminal is located in Minmin Town, Zhongshan City, including 3 hongqimen super major bridges, shazijiao super major bridges, erjiaoli super major bridges and corresponding approach bridges, with a total of 13 bridges, accounting for 100% of the whole line.
