From the perspective of enterprise category, the number of central enterprises (including subsidiaries) increased from 143 to 282, including 281 central enterprises (including subsidiaries) managed by SASAC and 1 central financial enterprise. The number of local state-owned enterprises increased from 66 to 158. The reporter of China Securities Journal noted that among the 158 local state-owned enterprises selected in the list of “demonstration enterprises of scientific and technological reform”, 19 enterprises were selected in Guangdong Province. In May 2021, SASAC announced the list of 209 “science and technology reform demonstration enterprises”. According to the latest list released by the SASAC on March 22, “science and technology reform demonstration enterprises” have been expanded to 440.
