According to the statistics of Horgos Customs on the 21st, from January to February this year, the import and export freight volume of Horgos port was 5.788 million tons, with a total import and export value of 40.28 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%.

Yu Chengzhong, general manager of Horgos Jinyi international trade (Group) Co., Ltd., said that from January to February this year, the company exported nearly 2.4 million tons of Nang, department stores, fruits and vegetables, with a trade volume of US $300 million. The goods were mainly exported to five Central Asian countries and Russia.

In order to improve the traffic capacity of Horgos highway port and reduce the customs clearance time of goods, Horgos also explored the new customs clearance mode of "steel structure container hoisting" with enterprises, which was officially implemented on August 29, 2021.
