20.8 billion yuan invested in two photovoltaic projects

Jingke energy is the global leader in photovoltaic modules, with vertically integrated production capacity including silicon wafers, batteries and modules. In January 2022, Jingke energy landed on the science and innovation board, and the latest market value of the company was 118.3 billion yuan.

According to the announcement of Jingke energy, the company signed an investment agreement with the people’s Government of Guangxin District of Shangrao City on March 18. Jingke energy plans to invest in the construction of 24gw high-efficiency photovoltaic modules and 100000 ton photovoltaic module aluminum profile project in Guangxin District of Shangrao City, with a total investment of about 10.8 billion yuan.

The project is divided into three phases, of which 8GW high-efficiency photovoltaic modules are constructed in phase I; Phase II construction of 8GW high-efficiency photovoltaic modules; Phase III construction of 8GW high-efficiency photovoltaic modules and 100000 tons of photovoltaic module aluminum profiles. The project will be put into operation before December 15, 2022 and reach production capacity before June 15, 2023. The second phase of the project is expected to be constructed in the fourth quarter of 2023, and the third phase is expected to be constructed in the third quarter of 2025.

On the same day, Jingke energy also signed an investment cooperation agreement with Xining Municipal People’s government and the Management Committee of Xining Economic and Technological Development Zone. Jingke energy plans to invest in the construction of 30GW single crystal pull rod photovoltaic industry project in Nanchuan Industrial Park under the jurisdiction of Xining Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total investment of about 10 billion yuan.

Among them, phase I plans to build a single crystal pull rod production line with an annual output of 20GW. At present, the 16GW n-type TOPCON battery projects that the company has put into operation in Hefei, Anhui and Haining, Zhejiang have a mass production efficiency of more than 24.5%. Various key indicators such as production capacity and yield are also steadily improving as planned, and it is expected to achieve full production ahead of schedule.

Since 2019, the company has started the production capacity layout of n-type TOPCON battery. The key technical indicators and production process have been verified and are in the stage of large-scale mass production. In the next six years, the company plans to invest in the development and construction of “green photovoltaic new energy base” in Qujing City, with a total investment of about 10 billion yuan.
