Victory Giant Technology (Huizhou)Co.Ltd(300476) (300476) announced on January 5 that the company recently received the decision on administrative punishment issued by Huizhou Ecological Environment Bureau of Guangdong Province. Because the expansion project violated the environmental impact assessment system and the “three Simultaneities” system of environmental protection of construction projects, the company was fined 500000 yuan by Huizhou ecological environment Bureau.
According to the announcement, on October 18, 2021, law enforcement officers of Huizhou Ecological Environment Bureau went to the company for law enforcement inspection. During the on-site inspection, it was found that the company increased the production scale of circuit boards, but the construction of the environmental impact report form of the expansion project was started in March 2018 without approval, and the supporting environmental protection facilities were completed and put into production in March 2019 without acceptance. The above acts violated the environmental impact assessment system of the construction project and the “three Simultaneities” system of environmental protection of the construction project.
In March 2021, Victory Giant Technology (Huizhou)Co.Ltd(300476) entrusted a professional third party to prepare the retrospective environmental impact assessment report of the construction project. In November 2021, the company’s construction project EIA passed the expert review, and the subsequent approval process will be further completed according to relevant regulations.
