The core material can ensure the stability of the laminate to a great extent, and is an indispensable part of the wind power blade. The lightest balsa wood in the world, also known as light wood, is an irreplaceable raw material for the core material of wind power blades. Light wood originated from equator. In the past, China has always relied on import, and the lack of pricing power and discourse power has become a bottleneck problem in the development of wind power industry. But now this problem has been solved in Xishuangbanna. Light wood originally only grew in the equatorial region. After decades of unremitting research in Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, it has bred light wood forest with the highest latitude in the world.
