After selling expired food, it was exposed on July 11 that the store was closed and filed for investigation

The Tongzhou Macrolink Culturaltainment Development Co.Ltd(000620) Jiayuan store (7-11 convenience store) of 7111 (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was exposed by the Beijing News on suspicion of selling expired food. The reporter learned from Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau today (March 15) that the Bureau conducted an investigation on the store involved for the first time. At present, the store has been closed and filed for investigation.

During the on-site inspection on that day, the law enforcement personnel of Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau found that the problems reflected by the Beijing News were basically true, and the 7-11 convenience store TongZhou Macrolink Culturaltainment Development Co.Ltd(000620) Jiayuan store did sell expired food. Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau issued the notice of order for correction to it according to law, requiring the stores involved to suspend business, and officially filed a case for investigation in accordance with the food safety law of the people’s Republic of China. It is reported that the stores involved can be reopened only after passing the inspection of the market supervision department.

That afternoon, Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau interviewed the relevant principals of 7111 (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and ordered them to seriously deal with the stores involved. At the same time, it required to organize all stores in Tongzhou District to carry out self-inspection, strengthen internal management, formulate rectification measures and supervise the implementation of rectification in all stores. At the same time, Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau conducted full coverage inspection on all 13 stores. As of press time, the inspection is still in progress.

Law enforcement officers of Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau said that once illegal problems are found in the inspection, they will be found, filed and investigated together. Next, Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau will draw inferences from one instance, organize special inspection actions on food safety of convenience stores in the region, strengthen the implementation of “four responsibilities”, strictly ensure the implementation of various requirements for food safety, and make every effort to ensure the food safety of Beijing Sub Center.
