On January 3, according to Beijing park management center, during the three-day New Year’s Day holiday, 11 municipal parks and Chinese garden museums received 659900 tourists, an increase of 52.68% year-on-year. Taoranting Park, Temple of Heaven Park and Summer Palace ranked among the top three, with 101900, 90600 and 90500 tourists respectively.
In terms of online orientation activities, Xiangshan Park launched 5g slow live broadcast of “chasing light – Sunshine relay Hello 2022” on New Year’s day, with more than 40000 people watching. The summer palace specially planned the live broadcast of the first ray of sunshine in the new year, attracting tens of millions of tourists to watch it online.
At the same time, with the arrival of 2022, nearly 30000 tourists will participate in winter sports in the snow fields of Taoran Pavilion, Zizhuyuan and Yuyuantan and the ice rink of the Summer Palace during the New Year holiday. In addition to ice and snow venues, Beijing municipal parks have widely carried out theme activities to help Beijing Winter Olympics. The summer palace has set up Lei Feng volunteer service station (post) to distribute Winter Olympic brochures to tourists. Zhongshan Park carried out the theme publicity activity of “New Year’s breeze, welcome to winter and visit the park politely in the Ming Dynasty”, and produced the theme publicity panels of “Happy New Year’s Day” and “Winter Olympic Knowledge Q & a”. Xiangshan Park carries out the civilized park tour publicity activity of “passionate Winter Olympics and civilized ‘incense’ Appointment”, sets up the Winter Olympics Theme publicity display board, and popularizes the knowledge of Beijing Winter Olympics competition area distribution, venue construction, theme slogan, mascot and emblem to tourists.
In addition, the Beijing park management center also said that at present, the Chimonanthus mume in WOFO Temple of Beijing Botanical Garden has successively entered the flowering period, and the flowering amount has reached 40%. It is expected that the flowering period will last until mid March. The flowering season of tanghuawu in Zhongshan Park has just begun. With the continuation of the exhibition, more specially treated spring flowers will bloom one after another. The Jingshan Guande culture exhibition, which displays the traditional “shooting art” culture in the exhibition room, will last until the Beijing Winter Olympic Games in mid and late February. In addition, the ice rinks in Beihai Park, Taoranting Park, Zizhuyuan Park, Yuyuantan Park and the snow rinks in the summer palace will be opened in early January depending on the weather conditions.
