Chongqing human resources and Social Security Bureau recently announced six major labor and social security violations, involving arrears of labor remuneration, illegal extension of workers’ working hours and other violations.
These cases are the illegal extension of working hours by Chongqing Xini Zhuoyue Clothing Co., Ltd., the illegal extension of working hours by Tongliang xinfengyi jewelry business department, the arrears of labor remuneration by Chongqing jujujia Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd., the arrears of labor remuneration by Chongqing oufurui Education Technology Co., Ltd Chongqing Fuling Muyu Huichun resort Co., Ltd. defaulted on labor remuneration and Chongqing Huachuang electromechanical Co., Ltd. defaulted on labor remuneration.
Among them, Chongqing oufurui Education Technology Co., Ltd. owed 23 workers 200000 yuan in wages, was ordered to pay the wages owed within a time limit, but failed to perform within the time limit, was suspected of refusing to pay labor remuneration, and was transferred to the public security organ for investigation; Chongqing jujujia Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. owed the wages of 28 workers 116800 yuan. Due to the overdue payment of the wages owed, it was suspected of refusing to pay labor remuneration and was transferred to the public security organ for investigation.
The relevant person in charge of Chongqing human resources and Social Security Bureau said that announcing major labor security violations to the society aims to strengthen the punishment of such violations and safeguard the rights and interests of workers. The relevant information of the employer and individual involved will be recorded in the integrity file, and the relevant departments will jointly punish the dishonesty.
The reporter also learned that in 2021, Chongqing made every effort to investigate and deal with violations of the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers’ labor remuneration through daily inspection, special law enforcement inspection and receiving reports and complaints. A total of more than 1600 cases of migrant workers’ wage arrears were investigated and dealt with throughout the year.
