At the opening ceremony, Huang Yi, deputy mayor of Youyang County, said in his speech that in recent years, Youyang County has continuously explored the road of integrated development of “Art + tourism”, and has continuously held many art activities such as gongtan sketching Art Seasons and the popularity of artists’ sketching, which has attracted a large number of art lovers and become the most beautiful cultural scenery of “art town” in recent years.

Activities such as sketching season, selection of excellent works of printing and painting gongtan, artist style sketching, “the source of ink method” – 2021 academic invitation exhibition of Chinese painting will reproduce the beauty of gongtan scenic area. Among them, gongtan tour of “ink method Zhengyuan” – 2021 academic invitation exhibition of Chinese painting was led and organized by Chongqing Artists Association, and jointly organized by Chongqing Academy of painting, Chinese Painting Art Committee of Chongqing Artists Association, Chinese Painting Art Committee of Chongqing Academy of painting and other units. A total of more than 30 well-known artists were invited and more than 70 works were exhibited.
“From the first sketch art season to now, we have seen the development of gongtan getting better and better. We have also witnessed the grand scene of thousands of people painting gongtan. Every time we come, we have a different experience. The unrepeatable beauty here is worth coming again.” At the opening ceremony, Hou Baochuan, member of China Artists Association, vice president of Chongqing Artists Association and vice president of Chongqing oil painting society, said that the natural scenery and humanistic architecture presented by gongtan is a professional exploration of nature for sketch students, and I believe it can bring very good creative inspiration to everyone’s works.
Jiang Bairui, Dean of the school of art and design of Chongqing Institute of foreign trade and economic cooperation, said that gongtan is a good place for sketching. Students can draw the old gongtan or the thriving new gongtan, and they can calm down and explore the humanities and nature here.
It is reported that during the art season, teachers and students from Sichuan Academy of fine arts, Chongqing University Academy of fine arts, Chongqing Normal University Academy of fine arts, Chongqing Institute of foreign trade and economic cooperation art and design and other colleges and universities were invited to come. They will use their brushes to show the humanistic beauty of gongtan’s landscape incisively and vividly in the old streets, alleys and Wujiang gallery.
