It is reported that Haicang port dredging channel project is an important part of Xiamen’s “two rings and eight shoots” expressway network system and Haixi urban connecting line. It is not only an important project for Xiamen to implement the cross island development strategy, but also an important transportation channel between the west of Xiamen Island and Haicang and Zhangzhou.
The project is located in Haicang District, with a East-West trend, starting from Haixin Road interchange and finally Maqing road Wuguan interchange under construction. The total length of the route is 5.3km The line crosses Xinyang tunnel and Metro Line 2, crosses with lu’ao Road (Maqing road wengjiao section) project in caijianwei mountain, and is connected by four ramps. The main construction contents include caijianweishan 1 tunnel, 2 tunnel, Xinqiao bridge, subgrade outside the tunnel and lu’ao road tunnel.
