Lu Changbo, principal of Heyue primary school, introduced that in order to strengthen labor education, the school has opened up a nearly 3 mu extracurricular planting practice base in Qishan village. While reducing students' homework burden, the school has strengthened students' extracurricular practice activities, focused on "reducing burden and improving quality", further strengthened home school cooperation and promoted the joint construction of education in the region.
Extracurricular planting practice base is not only a place for schools to carry out students' practical activities, but also a paradise for students' families to "parent-child labor" on weekends. "At the beginning, students were not familiar with all kinds of vegetables. Therefore, the school specially opened a publicity column of popular science knowledge in the plantation to introduce the types of vegetables in detail." Lu Changbo introduced that in the planting process, experienced parents will participate and work with their children, which not only improves the parent-child relationship, but also strengthens the home school cooperation.
