It is reported that as the fourth production base built by Shandong Linglong Tyre Co.Ltd(601966) in China, Hubei Linglong project has a total investment of 5.4 billion yuan. It is planned to be constructed in three phases. After completion, it can produce 12 million high-performance passenger and light truck radial tires, 2.4 million truck passenger radial tires and 60000 Engineering tires, and realize sales revenue of more than 5 billion yuan in the year of reaching production.
On July 6, 2018, Hubei Linglong project was launched. Taking green intelligent manufacturing, product life cycle management and industrial big data application as the construction standards, the project has successively completed phase I and phase II projects in more than three years. At the same time, Shandong Linglong Tyre Co.Ltd(601966) started the phase III project when phase II was put into operation, and planned to build the bead steel wire project with an annual output of 100000 tons. The investment of phase III and steel wire project is close to 1 billion, so as to further optimize the layout of Hubei Linglong Industrial structure.

The project was rated as the pilot demonstration project of Intelligent Manufacturing in Hubei Province in 2020 and supported by provincial special funds. Overseas, Shandong Linglong Tyre Co.Ltd(601966) ‘s Thai production base has reached the annual production capacity of 17 million sets of high-performance radial tires. The annual production capacity of Serbia production base is planned to be 13.62 million sets of high-performance radial tires. It is expected to reach the production capacity in 2025. At present, construction is being stepped up. The remaining three production bases will be planned and promoted by stages according to the site selection and local market conditions.
