The project is a specific measure for Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to build a highland of new energy industry and achieve the objectives of “two pioneers” and “two surpasses” in the development of new energy. It is also a key project for the cooperation between the government and enterprises of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Three Gorges group.
According to reports, in order to meet the needs of grid connection and access of the project, Inner Mongolia Electric Power Group plans to build the 500 kV power transmission and transformation project of Wulanchabu demonstration project at the same time, adheres to high-standard design, high-quality construction and high-efficiency promotion, fully coordinates government departments at all levels to promote the preliminary work of the project, and completed all construction tasks in 84 days in severe cold weather, It has created a number of engineering construction records.
The Three Gorges Ulanqab new generation power grid friendly green power station demonstration project is the largest “wind power storage” integration project in China, and also the first new energy station in China with an energy storage configuration scale of gigawatt hours. It is necessary to build a new generation control system based on digital and artificial intelligence algorithms for the construction of a new power system, It is of great demonstration significance to explore a new mode of new energy development and construction. The total construction scale of the project is 2 million KW, which is divided into 1.7 million kW wind power project and 300000 kW photovoltaic project, supporting the construction of 550000 kW * 2-hour energy storage system, divided into 4 wind and solar energy storage units, and a total of 4 step-up energy storage integrated stations and 1 intelligent joint dispatching center.
