On the afternoon of December 28, three major transportation infrastructure construction projects in Shenzhen ushered in major nodes. Pingyan channel is expected to be opened to traffic after 18:00, metro line 20 phase I opened to operation at 16:28, and Xiaomo International Logistics Port Phase I opened to operation.

Pingshan Yantian 10 minute interchange

As an important part of the planned trunk line network of Shenzhen, Pingyan channel project is an important southward external channel of Pingshan District in the future. The project starts from Pingshan Avenue in Pingshan District in the north and ends at Yanba Expressway in Yantian District in the south, with a total length of 11.25km. Among them, malanshan tunnel is the longest two-way six Lane Municipal Road Tunnel in China. After the completion of the project, starting from Pingshan, it can reach Yantian in 10 minutes, Luohu in 20 minutes and Futian in 30 minutes, forming a fast track serving the development of Eastern Shenzhen, which will effectively promote the convenient connection and integrated development of Pingshan National High Tech Park and the east to sea development corridor of “Yantian Dapeng Shenzhen Shantou”.

The phase I line of metro line 20 starts from the airport north station and ends at the Convention and Exhibition City station, with a total length of 8.43km. There are 5 stations, of which 3 are transfer stations, which can transfer with Metro Line 11, Guangzhou Dongguan Shenzhen intercity railway, Metro Line 12 under construction and planned metro line 30. The maximum operating speed can reach 120km / h.

Shenzhen’s first fully automatic subway

The line is the first fully automatic subway line in Shenzhen. It can wake up automatically, start automatically, stop accurately, and be your own “doctor” for automatic detection. In addition, the train also has safety protection functions such as obstacle detection, vehicle auxiliary anti-collision and derailment detection. The full-automatic operation function adds new interest to the public’s ride experience. Passengers can witness the whole picture of the subway tunnel in the front and rear carriages and deeply experience the movie blockbuster “tunnel shuttle”.

After the line is put into operation, it will greatly facilitate the traffic in the airport new town area, effectively expand the radiation scope of convention and exhibition economy, and help build a world-class Convention and exhibition platform that radiates the bay area and serves the whole country.

build a gateway port in the east of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Bay area

The phase I project of Xiaomo International Logistics Port was started in April 2018, with a total investment of 1.334 billion yuan. It will build two 100000 ton berths and one 50000 ton berth, with a total coastline of 641m, a land area of 460000 square meters and a design annual throughput of 4.5 million tons.

Xiaomo international logistics port is the eastern gateway port of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan District, the core growth pole of the “one body, three wings” Middle East Wing of Shenzhen port, and an important port in the supporting system of the “four ports and five stations” transportation hub of Shenzhen Shantou cooperation zone. It is planned to adopt the layout mode of “large port pool and great Shun bank” to form the overall pattern of “freight transportation in the West and passenger transportation in the East”.

The planned functional orientation of Xiaomo port is mainly container transportation, giving consideration to bulk cargo transportation, and developing leisure passenger transportation such as cruise ships and yachts. In the future, Xiaomo International Logistics Port will, through the linkage development with Shenzhen Yan Tian Port Holdings Co.Ltd(000088) and dachanwan port, build itself into an important strategic node of Shenzhen international shipping center and a centralized bearing area of marine industry, and strive to build a world-class smart zero carbon port based on Eastern Guangdong and radiating Western Fujian and southern Jiangxi.
