The first “fully automatic driving” line in Shenzhen has been opened, with a total operating mileage of 419 kilometers

With the opening of the first foreign passenger train of Shenzhen metro line 20 (hereinafter referred to as “line 20”), the first fully automatic driving line in Shenzhen, the subway line was officially opened to operation on the same day, which also marks that the total operating mileage of the subway line in Shenzhen has reached 419 km (including MTR Shenzhen line 4, excluding TRAM).

According to reports, line 20 has 5 underground stations, with a total length of 8.43 km; It is the first fully automatic driving line in the city. For the first time, A-type 8-car marshalling fully automatic driving train is adopted, and the maximum running speed of the train can reach 120 km / h. After its official opening, Shenzhen Metro will have 12 operating lines, with a total operating mileage of 419 kilometers (including MTR Shenzhen line 4, excluding TRAM), with a total of 288 stations.

The reporter learned that the fully automatic driving function of metro line 20 is mainly reflected in a series of “routine operations” such as wake-up, sleep, on-line operation, entry and exit, door opening and closing without driver operation.

At the same time, the train of line 20 is the first line in the world to use TACs signal system (train independent operation signal system based on vehicle communication) to realize passenger operation. As a walking “subway doctor”, the vehicle is equipped with a number of comprehensive detection systems such as health management, tunnel detection, pantograph catenary detection, running detection and active anti-collision.

“The equipment can send all data during train operation to the control center in real time, and carry out fault analysis, train health diagnosis and push fault handling measures through big data. Under normal circumstances, there is no need for the driver to operate, but only the staff to ensure the equipment status.” The relevant person in charge of Shenzhen Metro said.

“Due to coastal geological reasons, the construction of this line is like digging a tunnel in tofu, which is a great test of construction technology.” Liu Shi, deputy commander-in-chief of the headquarters of Shenzhen metro line 20, told reporters that during the construction of line 20, they mobilized China Railway Construction Corporation Limited(601186) multiple bureaus to participate in the construction, used a number of international advanced construction technologies, and overcame problems such as geological conditions; On the premise of quality assurance, the construction time of shield and civil engineering was reduced from 32 months originally planned to 15 months, so as to win more time for subsequent projects.

Shenzhen Metro Group disclosed that 559 kilometers of rail transit lines are under construction in the city, including 227 kilometers of subway lines under construction and 332 kilometers of intercity railway lines under construction; After the new lines are successively opened in 2022, the subway operation mileage of the city will exceed 500 km.
