On December 25, the annual meeting of the artificial intelligence industry university research innovation alliance of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the third session of the artificial intelligence innovation forum were held in Beijing. Experts in the field of technology and industry of artificial intelligence gathered together to discuss how to use artificial intelligence technology to enable the new era of digital economy. At the meeting, Zhang Feng, vice president of the strategic advisory Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, released the annual report “artificial intelligence frontier research and industrial development report 2021” on behalf of the alliance. The report points out that the scale of China’s artificial intelligence industry is continuously expanding. It is expected that the scale of China’s artificial intelligence core industry is expected to reach 400 billion yuan by the end of 2025.
At present, artificial intelligence has become an important driving force for a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change. Pan Jiaofeng, director of the alliance strategic advisory committee and President of the science and Technology Strategic Advisory Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that the new generation of information technology represented by artificial intelligence is profoundly changing the world development pattern. China has formed an artificial intelligence development system from the central to the local, from technology to industry.
Suo jishuan, chairman of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Holding Co., Ltd., said that accelerating the development of a new generation of artificial intelligence is an important strategic resource to promote the leapfrog development of China’s science and technology, industrial optimization and upgrading and the overall leap of productivity. The next step is to adhere to the source core technology innovation and realize the independent control of key technologies; Second, strive to create a new ecology of artificial intelligence industry and form a new model of national demand guidance, industrial cluster guidance and collaborative innovation; Third, escort the steady development of the digital economy, and reshape the healthy ecology of the platform economy with a hundred flowers in full bloom and vitality.
