In March 3rd, Baidu Intelligent Cloud and Baidu Business Intelligence Laboratory jointly issued the 2021 big data research report in Xiong Anxin district (hereinafter referred to as the report). Through technical comparison and data analysis, the city changes in the key areas of Xiong an New District in 2021 were accurately depicted. It shows the development style of xiong’an, the “city of the future”, under the guidance of the “five new” goals (“forming a new image, building new functions, developing Shenzhen New Industries Biomedical Engineering Co.Ltd(300832) , gathering new talents and building new mechanisms”). The report shows that over the past year, there have been significant changes in five aspects in xiong’an New Area: the permanent population has continued to grow, urban construction has accelerated, green development has achieved remarkable results, integrated innovation has begun to emerge, policies and measures are stable and effective, and the residents of the New Area live and work in peace and contentment.

In 2021, xiong’an new area entered an important stage of undertaking the simultaneous promotion of Beijing’s non capital function relief and large-scale development and construction, and the vitality and attraction of the city were further improved. In the report, through the analysis of Baidu spatio-temporal big data mining, it is found that the resident population of xiong’an new area increased by 4.5% year-on-year in 2021. Under the background of large-scale development and construction of the new area, the construction army of more than 200000 floating population is fighting on the front line. In March 2021, the new area issued the implementation plan on accelerating the gathering, supporting and relieving of new talents for innovation and entrepreneurship, and launched the implementation of the “talent plan”, which attracted the keen attention of netizens. Through satellite remote sensing image analysis technology, the report found that in 2021, the urban construction and key livelihood projects in xiong’an new area accelerated, achieved fruitful results in urban space, traffic network, convenience projects and other fields, and the overall appearance of the city took on a new look. According to the data, the number of life service points of interest (POI) in xiong’an new area increased by 44% year-on-year in 2021, reflecting the residents’ higher pursuit of quality of life. At the same time, the number of urban functional areas in xiong’an new area increased by 20% year-on-year, including 30% for consumption, 13% for scenic spots, and richer urban spatial supporting facilities.

In 2021, the density of the transportation network in xiong’an new area was further enhanced, and the “four vertical and three horizontal” external transportation backbone network was fully put into use, with a year-on-year increase of 25% in the total mileage of the network. In addition, in 2021, the urban framework of xiong’an new area will be fully opened, and various key livelihood projects such as medical construction, consumer places, public facilities, entertainment facilities and educational facilities will be accelerated. The first batch of more than 400 resettlement houses in Rongdong area have been put into use. Through the analysis of Baidu remote sensing images, it was found that the overall water quality was comprehensively upgraded to class III standard. It is worth mentioning that this is the first time that Baiyangdian has achieved class III water in the whole area since the restoration of water storage in 1988. Meanwhile, the area of Baiyangdian district is gradually restored to 360 square kilometers, giving play to the function of “kidney of North China”.

At the same time, the “Millennium forest show” afforestation project in xiong’an new area has been carried out continuously and deeply, which has become a vivid practice of xiong’an New Area adhering to the concept of “green development” for many years.
