The Department of Veterans Affairs signed cooperation agreements with 6 enterprises to expand the use scenarios of preferential treatment certificates

The Department of Veterans Affairs signed the cooperation agreement on military support and preferential treatment with six enterprises including China UnionPay, Petrochina Company Limited(601857) , China Post, SF group, deppon express and China United Airlines in Beijing on the 28th, expanding the use of preferential treatment certificates for veterans and other preferential treatment objects, and further improving the sense of acquisition and honor of the holders of preferential treatment certificates.

The reporter learned at the signing ceremony that the agreement signed by the Department of Veterans Affairs with China UnionPay, Petrochina Company Limited(601857) , China Post, Shunfeng group, deppon express and other five enterprises will take effect on April 8, 2022, and the agreement signed with China United Airlines will take effect on June 1, 2022. After the agreement takes effect, the above six enterprises will provide different preferential services and exclusive priority services for different preferential treatment objects in accordance with the principle of “matching preferential treatment with contribution” and in combination with their own business areas. In addition, China Post will also carry out donation activities to the veterans care fund.

The application and issuance of preferential treatment certificates for veterans and other preferential treatment objects was officially launched on December 14, 2021. All localities are orderly promoting the application and issuance of preferential treatment certificates. The first batch of preferential treatment certificates have entered the production process and will be issued to applicants one after another. At present, the Department of Veterans Affairs and six enterprises are promoting preparations for information system transformation, docking and debugging. After completion, the specific process of enjoying corresponding preferential services will be released in time.

Qian Feng, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, said that the door of preferential treatment certificate cooperation is always open. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs sincerely welcomes more social organizations and enterprises to join the “circle of friends” of preferential treatment certificates and jointly expand more and wider service space and provide more and better preferential treatment services for veterans and other preferential treatment objects.
