Air China participated in the all factor operation test of the Winter Olympic Village and made preparations for ticketing and check-in forward service

From December 21 to 22, 2021, Air China Limited(601111) (hereinafter referred to as “Air China”) participated in the all factor operation test of Zhangjiakou Winter Olympic Village as the official air passenger transport service partner of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and winter Paralympic Games. Previously, Air China has participated in the all factor operation test of Beijing Winter Olympic Village and Yanqing Winter Olympic village. The Three Winter Olympic villages have completed the service preparations for ticketing and check-in counters. During the Winter Olympic Games, Air China will send 52 staff to the Winter Olympic villages and media centers in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou to provide ticketing and check-in forward services.

The Winter Olympic Village operation test is an all-round experience conducted according to the competition time standards. It aims to find and solve problems in time to ensure the normal operation of the Winter Olympic Village during the competition time. In Zhangjiakou Winter Olympic Village, more than 2000 participants, including people with physical disabilities and visual impairment, participated in the operation tests of welcome reception, catering security, resident services, nucleic acid sampling, commercial services, transportation stations, arrival and departure services, etc.

Air China ticket counter is located in the sunken square area in the center of the Winter Olympic village. It provides ticket reservation, refund, change and other services for participants. Air China ticket service personnel conducted targeted tests on whether the use of various equipment systems is smooth, whether the business of the disabled is smooth, whether the demand for ticket refund and change proposed by the testers can be met, whether the cross development of multiple business areas in the peak passenger flow period can do a good job in service and epidemic prevention and control. Air China check-in counter is located in the logistics area of the Winter Olympic village. During the closing period of the Winter Olympic Games and the winter Paralympic Games, it will focus on providing on-site check-in and baggage check-in services for participants. According to the requirements of the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee on work organization and epidemic prevention and control, Air China ground service personnel provide full process services to simulated passengers, including guiding passengers to enter, temperature measurement and hand disinfection, comprehensive killing of checked baggage, customs declaration according to the international passenger check-in process, handling check-in procedures, printing boarding pass and pasting luggage strip Complete check-in departure and other links. During the test, the service personnel of Air China Winter Olympic Village reasonably allocated the responsible area, paid attention to the number of people on site and the interval distance, received each simulated passenger, including wheelchair passenger and visually impaired passenger, answered relevant ticketing and check-in questions, and listened to the on-site experience and improvement suggestions of simulated passengers.
