On December 24, Cgn Power Co.Ltd(003816) group (hereinafter referred to as “CGN”) successfully completed the dome hoisting of unit 1 of Guangdong taipingling nuclear power project, marking the full transition of the project from the civil construction stage to the equipment installation stage, laying a foundation for further high-quality and steady progress of the project construction.
It is reported that the dome area of taipingling nuclear power unit 1 is equivalent to the size of four standard basketball courts. The prefabrication, assembly and deformation control on the ground before hoisting all have high technical requirements. During the hoisting process of more than 2 hours, the dome shall be safely and stably hoisted to a height of 70 meters and fall on the nuclear island cylinder, and the deviation shall be controlled at the level of mm. The deflection under the influence of wind force and the thermal expansion and contraction under temperature change are all issues to be considered by the project team, which is an arduous challenge.
“In this dome hoisting, we innovatively used intelligent nuclear power construction technologies such as three-dimensional modeling, conducted many sand table exercises on the dome hoisting process, held nearly 100 technical seminars within two months before the hoisting, and also organized many drills including dome hoisting empty hook simulation drill, emergency drill and dome trial hoisting, so as to ensure that the dome is accurately in place and the hoisting is successful at one time.” Zhang Tiejun, general manager of Huizhou Project Department of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., said that the dome hoisting of the project nine days in advance is a good witness to the orderly progress of China’s independent third-generation nuclear power technology project construction as planned, and also marks that “Hualong No. 1” has the conditions and foundation for mass construction.
“The 16 years from the project site selection in 2006 to the commencement of construction in 2019, and then to the dome hoisting, the taipingling nuclear power project is exactly the progressive process of CGN’s commitment to promoting China National Nuclear Power Co.Ltd(601985) technology self-reliance and achieving high-quality development.” Li Jing, party secretary and general manager of CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., said that after the completion of all six units of taipingling nuclear power, the annual power generation will reach 50 billion kwh. Under the guidance of the national “3060” carbon peak and carbon neutralization goal, taipingling nuclear power will provide a steady stream of clean energy for the sustainable economic and social development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area.
