State Grid Hubei Electric Power said that it would do a good job in the work plan for low temperature rain, snow and freezing weather according to weather changes, carry out power grid operation load prediction during strong wind, cooling and icing, and improve various accident emergency plans. Strengthen the professional duty force, strengthen the operation monitoring of Hubei power grid, earnestly make emergency preparations for resisting low-temperature rain, snow and freezing disasters, and make every effort to ensure the safe and reliable power supply of the whole province. Carry out special cold wave weather inspection and equipment temperature measurement for key substations, key lines and key equipment, strengthen transmission line icing monitoring, collect icing conditions, observe conductor and ground wire sag changes, wind speed and other data, and prepare for transmission line icing to ensure safe and stable operation of power grid. Fully enter the anti freezing and ice melting preparation state, and all anti freezing and ice melting devices, vehicles and materials are ready. At the same time, the company also gathered emergency repair forces to be on standby at any time, quickly respond to various possible grid faults, and carry out emergency repair and restore power supply at the first time.
The company also conducted special inspections on electrical equipment related to people’s livelihood, public services and other important customers, and established 7 × 24-hour point-to-point contact system, prepare emergency equipment such as power generation tram and UPS power supply truck, and make every effort to ensure safe and reliable power consumption in the whole province.
