China Electronics Group headquarters moved to Shenzhen

On December 25, China Electronics Group headquarters officially moved to Shenzhen.

At the relocation conference, Rui Xiaowu, Secretary of the Party group and chairman of China Electronics, said that China Electronics would accelerate the layout in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen by serving the overall situation of national development and taking the relocation of China Electronics Group headquarters in Shenzhen as an opportunity to build a highland of national online information innovation strategies and cultivate world-class online information industry clusters.

At the meeting, China Electronics signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on accelerating the building of the core strength and organizational platform of the national Internet information industry with Guangdong Province and the strategic cooperation agreement on jointly building the national Internet information innovation strategy highland and industrial cluster with Shenzhen.

Public information shows that China Electronics is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government and a central enterprise focusing on network security and informatization. By the end of 2020, CEC had 26 secondary enterprises, 15 listed companies and more than 180000 employees, achieved an annual operating revenue of 247.92 billion yuan, and ranked among the Fortune 500 for 10 consecutive years.
