Please check the equipment and link immediately!” On December 24, this was the scene of the network security emergency drill during the power supply period of Shizuishan Power Supply Company of State Grid this winter and next spring. With the issuance of the emergency repair command, the repair team members packed up and went to the scene.
Power information and communication network is the basis for a series of intelligent and automatic technology applications such as smart grid dispatching, unattended substation and accurate removal of power grid faults. In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of Shizuishan Power Grid, the company carried out network security emergency drill during power supply guarantee this winter and next spring. The drill simulated the network interruption of Dawukou District power supply company and surrounding substations and power supply stations of the State Grid. The participants covered more than 20 professionals such as operation inspection, marketing and ICT. During the drill, the linkage and cooperation of various disciplines were orderly, the command was efficient and the disposal was scientific, and the fault treatment was successfully completed.
“This is the third emergency drill organized by our specialty this year. We have successively carried out emergency drills for three types of network and system emergencies: illegal tampering of web pages, large-scale network virus outbreak and network equipment failure, basically covering internal and external network security events that may have a wide range of impact.” Yan long, the emergency response personnel of the drill, said that the contents of the three drills were events that had not occurred for many years, which made everyone familiar with the emergency response process and further tested the rapid response ability of emergencies.
Strengthening the implementation drill of emergency plan is an important measure for Shizuishan Power Supply Company of State Grid to carry out power supply guarantee this winter and next spring. Since this year, the company has continuously strengthened the construction of network security emergency mechanism, regularly carried out emergency plan drills with high degree of simulation, conducted special analysis on the possible impact of network security accidents, put forward emergency response measures, and verified and improved them in the drills. “The whole process of emergency drill is recorded, summarized and evaluated after the drill, and we continue to improve the integrity and applicability of the emergency plan.” Yan Long said.
