On December 22, China’s all driverless manufacturer autox (Antu) released the internal video of the autox robotaxi super factory for the first time to show the all driverless robotaxi production line.
It is understood that the super factory is built for the mass production of the fifth generation robotaxi of autox. It is deeply integrated and cooperated by autox and Chrysler FCA, and has the functions of vehicle gauge level redundant wire control. Autox chose Changzhou, Jiangsu Province to build its first production base. Its unmanned robotaxi production line has been optimized for three generations to ensure the accuracy and consistency of mass production integration of each robotaxi.
The video shows that the first step for the parts to enter the warehouse is to pass the quality inspection, and then the parts passing the quality inspection go to the upper assembly line for local integration: the dual master multi-sensor fusion system and blind zone multi-sensor fusion system of the fifth generation system are completed on the assembly line. The final assembly line is composed of large-scale semi-automatic sliding plate transmission line and hoisting transmission line. It is specially customized for the fully unmanned robotaxi assembly process. ABB 7-axis Siasun Robot&Automation Co.Ltd(300024) with peer leading level is adopted. International giants such as Siemens, Omron, Schneider, Philips, Mitsubishi and sew provide electric control system and transmission system to standardize and digitize the fully unmanned robotaxi core process.
It is reported that when each robotaxi passes through the standardized production line and enters the final PDI pre delivery inspection, the gen5 driverless system has been “lit up”, and the staff carries out quality inspection on all software and hardware modules of the gen5 system from the in vehicle operation interface. A gen5 robotaxi goes off the production line, immediately walks into the self-built automatic multi-sensor calibration turntable, four-wheel positioning and other calibration equipment in the upper room, completes the vehicle specification level detection of constant temperature room and spray room in the factory, and can enter the driverless state when leaving the factory.
In July this year, autox officially released the fifth generation driverless system autox gen5, which is equipped with high-definition vehicle gauge level sensor, self-developed core computing platform autox xcu and automatic driving domain electronic and electrical architecture. The computing power is up to 2200 tops, realizing the redundancy of the full stack architecture of vehicle gauge level function safety and ensuring the full driverless ability.
