Release of group standard for construction specification of electric passenger vehicle shared power station, focusing on enterprises with leading layout (with shares)

It is reported that the China Automobile Industry Association disclosed on the 22nd that a series of group standards of the China Automobile Industry Association (China charging alliance) code for the construction of electric passenger vehicle shared power station were officially released, which can better promote the development of the electric vehicle industry.

It is reported that the research and formulation of this standard has lasted nearly two years. Relevant units and industry experts have conducted many discussions and carried out extensive research work, which has been strongly supported by relevant automobile enterprises, power battery production enterprises and other units, and obtained a large number of constructive suggestions and test data. The introduction of this series of group standards not only specifies the key core components, technical requirements and general processes of electric passenger vehicle shared replacement power station, but also classifies, specifications and requirements for quick change device, communication protocol, locking mechanism, data management, test rules and safety protection.

CICC believes that with the increase in the number of new energy vehicles, the demand for new energy vehicle charging and replacement facilities increases simultaneously. Due to the relative shortage of land and power resources in China, it is considered that with the continuous increase of vehicle ownership, the power exchange mode is expected to become a good supplement to the charging mode and has broad medium and long-term development prospects. The power exchange mode has the following three meanings: 1) make up for the relative deficiency of energy supplement efficiency of charging mode; 2) The separation of vehicle and electricity reduces the cost of purchasing vehicles, realizes the unified management of batteries, enhances safety, and is convenient for cascade utilization and recycling; 3) When the number of new energy vehicles reaches a high level, optimize the use of power, land and other resources. Although the initial construction cost is high, the good resource allocation optimization function of the power exchange mode makes it obtain the support of national policies and believe that it has long-term development potential.

AVIC Securities pointed out that with the gradual recognition of the power exchange mode, many enterprises have indicated that they will carry out the R & D and layout of the power exchange mode. Dongfeng, Weilai, Aodong, BAIC, Chang’an, SAIC, Geely and other enterprises have cut into the power exchange track. It is conservatively estimated that the number of replacement power stations in China will be more than 20000 in 2025. Based on this, it is estimated that the total investment in new replacement power stations during the 14th Five Year Plan period will reach 127.6 billion yuan, and the CAGR from 2021 to 2025 will be 175%; During the “14th five year plan” period, the operation market space of the power exchange station reached 109.1 billion yuan, and the CAGR from 2021 to 2025 was 306.71%.
