On December 22, the construction of the Beijing section and Hebei section of the road from Beijing Urban sub center to Dachang County, Langfang, Hebei, one of the major transportation integration projects of the 14th five year plan for the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, started simultaneously. The plant access road is about 7.9 km long, including a new Chaobai River Bridge about 1.6 km long. The total investment of roads and bridges is about 960 million yuan. It is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024. After completion, it will become another important channel between Tongzhou District of Beijing and the three northern counties of Langfang, Hebei Province.
In order to implement the opinions of the State Council on supporting the high-quality development of Beijing Urban sub center and the coordinated development plan of Tongzhou District of Beijing and Sanhe, Dachang and Xianghe counties and cities of Hebei Province, and promote the integrated high-quality development of Beijing Urban sub center, Tongzhou District and Sanhe, Dachang and Xianghe counties and cities of Hebei Province, according to the requirements of the office of the leading group for coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, The comprehensive group of the office has held many meetings on the work coordination mechanism, carried out on-site investigation, supervision and coordination, promoted relevant parties in Beijing and Hebei Province to accelerate the construction of cross-border roads between Tongzhou District and the three northern counties, and improved the interconnection level and traffic efficiency of transportation infrastructure. Up to now, five bridges across Chaobai River such as Yanchao bridge and 10 cross-border connecting roads such as Beijing Qinhuangdao Expressway and xuyin road have been built between Beijing Urban sub center and the three northern counties of Langfang, providing effective support for the integrated and high-quality development of surrounding areas driven by Beijing Urban sub center.
