“Digital collection is the use of digital technology to promote the outward movement of culture, especially the possible boundary of traditional cultural industry. It is the carrier to promote the ‘living’ of cultural industry value and commercial value.” On December 21, Zhao Zhiliang, vice president of Hebei Provincial Museum, said at the launching ceremony of the excellent case collection activity of “using numbers to enrich wisdom to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese culture” and the digital new cultural innovation seminar.
Ran Maojin, deputy director of the network literature and art communication center of China Federation of literary and art circles, pointed out that today’s cultural inheritance and development must be the process of mutual combination and development of digital technology and information content. The core competitiveness of a country’s culture must be composed of mutual support and integration of technology and content. Today’s cultural power must be a digital and intellectual cultural power.
It is understood that digital collections are digital certificates generated using blockchain technology, which correspond to specific works and works of art, and realize true and reliable digital distribution, purchase, collection and use on the basis of protecting their digital copyright. Digital collections are rich in categories, including but not limited to digital pictures, music, videos, 3D models, electronic tickets, digital souvenirs and other forms.
At present, Internet enterprises including ant, Tencent and Baidu have carried out relevant businesses. Taking ant group as an example, since the launch of the “treasure plan”, 17 museums have joined and successively issued digital collections, and ant chain has provided technical support for them.
“As a form of cultural innovation, the digital collection transmits the history and culture behind the cultural relics in a younger way of experience. It is also an important breakthrough in promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of China’s excellent traditional culture by Hebei Museum, and has taken the first step of Hebei digital cultural innovation.” Zhao Zhiliang said at the above seminar.

Zhang Hongsheng, executive dean of School of cultural industry management of Communication University of China, analyzed the research value of NFT technology and put forward: “Cultural economy will be the main body of the future digital economy era. Every production chain, every social service and every material product will reflect the power of culture and symbols. In essence, we have to face a new proposition – how to identify the value of digital cultural and creative labor, and NFT and other related technologies can bring traceability management of the whole life cycle of digital original content.”
