It was learned from the Economic Development Bureau of Hengqin Guangdong Macao deep cooperation zone that the 16th “China core” integrated circuit industry promotion conference and the release ceremony of “China core” excellent product collection results were successfully held in Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Center from December 20 to 21. As one of the most influential and authoritative industry conferences in the field of integrated circuits in China, this conference was hosted by China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute, Zhuhai Municipal People’s government and the Executive Committee of Hengqin Guangdong Macao deep cooperation zone (hereinafter referred to as the “Executive Committee of the cooperation zone”), with the theme of “Chinese chip in the chain makes China”. The “China chip” excellent product collection activity held in the same period aims to commend the achievements of product innovation, technological innovation and application innovation in China’s integrated circuit field. A total of 217 Chinese excellent chip enterprises signed up, and the number of applications and products reached a record high.
On the morning of the 20th, Nie Xinping, deputy secretary of the Hengqin Working Committee of the Guangdong provincial Party committee, director of the Hengqin Office of the provincial government and deputy director of the Executive Committee of the cooperation zone, presided over the symposium to have in-depth exchanges with the guests and experts of the conference and jointly seek the development plan of the integrated circuit industry in the cooperation zone. The guests discussed how to find the development orientation and industrial development path of the integrated circuit industry, and made constructive and enlightening speeches on the topics of reasonable path, strategic layout, key governance points and focus areas of the integrated circuit industry development in the cooperation zone.
On the afternoon of the 20th, Fu Yongge, deputy director of the Executive Committee of the cooperation zone, said in his speech at the opening ceremony of the conference that Hengqin will take “forward-looking innovation, characteristic development, mechanism breakthrough and Guangdong Macao coordination” as the main development idea, and take “high-end development leading area, resource agglomeration bridgehead and Guangdong Macao integration carrier” as the main development orientation, Focus on building an industrial system of “core layout in frontier fields, full ecology of characteristic chips, full chain of high-end production and testing, and full convergence of international talents”, give full play to the resource advantages of Qinhuangdao and Macao, actively attract and gather global industrial resources, and promote the development of integrated circuit industry in the cooperation zone with greater courage and at a higher starting point.
Zhang Ge, Acting Deputy Director of the Economic Development Bureau of the cooperation zone, comprehensively demonstrated the business advantages of the cooperation zone in the promotion of the investment environment, introduced the progress made in economic construction, industrial development and policy support in recent years, as well as the remarkable results achieved by concentrating advantageous resources and increasing the introduction and cultivation of integrated circuit R & D and design industry.
During the conference, the launching ceremony of Zhuhai City, Hengqin Guangdong Macao deep cooperation zone – Guangdong wuyuefeng integrated circuit equity investment fund, Guangdong Guangdong Macao semiconductor industry investment fund, the unveiling ceremony of Zhuhai City, Hengqin Guangdong Macao deep cooperation zone – Guangdong Macao integrated circuit design Industrial Park and the unveiling ceremony of “China core” integrated circuit industry education integration demonstration base were held successively.
At present, the Guangdong Guangdong Guangdong Macao semiconductor industry investment fund with a total scale of 10 billion yuan and the Wu Yuefeng Guangdong fund with a total scale of 5 billion yuan have been settled in Hengqin, which will help the cooperation zone “promote investment” to attract high-quality resources, layout the whole IC industry chain and promote the rapid development of the industry. Hengqin is stepping up the formulation of integrated circuit industry policies. Integrated circuit enterprises can obtain all-round policy support from site rent subsidies, streaming subsidies, IP (intellectual property module) EDA (electronic design automation software tool) tool purchase and R & D subsidies, revenue incentives, public service platform incentives, talent incentives and so on Provide supporting support for circulation and service.
According to the Economic Development Bureau of the cooperation zone, in order to make development planning and promote business advantages, the Bureau has set up a booth in the cooperation zone at the main venue to facilitate rapid contact with enterprises.
