Nissan recalls 27133 imported Infiniti qx60

Yangcheng Evening News reporter Zhang Aili reported: Recently, the State Administration of Market Supervision announced that according to the requirements of the regulations on the administration of defective automobile product recall and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the administration of defective automobile product recall, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recalled some imported Infiniti qx60 hybrid vehicles produced from April 17, 2014 to November 3, 2020, A total of 27133 vehicles.

According to the announcement, due to the insufficient setting of the hybrid system control software for the vehicles within the scope of this recall, when the drive motor bearing is damaged and the speed difference between the engine and the drive motor is too large, a specific fault code will be triggered. According to the control strategy of this fault code, the operation of the engine and motor will be stopped, resulting in power interruption during vehicle driving and potential safety hazards.

It is understood that Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will upgrade the hybrid system control software for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge through Dongfeng Infiniti Automobile Co., Ltd., so as to eliminate potential safety hazards.

The announcement reminded that the user should drive carefully before the vehicle is recalled for repair. If any abnormality is found in the vehicle gearbox, the user should contact the authorized dealer of Infiniti in time.

It is worth mentioning that this recall was carried out when the State Administration of market supervision launched the defect investigation. Affected by the investigation, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. decided to take recall measures to eliminate potential safety hazards.
