It is preliminarily determined that the main product is electrolytic copper foil for 4.5 micron and 6 micron lithium batteries. The main body of the project is Gansu Defu new materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Gansu Defu”), which was established in Lanzhou New Area in June 2018 with a registered capital of 500 million yuan.
According to tianyancha data, Gansu Defu has four shareholders, of which Jiujiang Defu has become the largest shareholder with a shareholding ratio of 51%, Baiyin Nonferrous Group Co.Ltd(601212) , Xinglong capital under Gansu SDIC and Lanzhou New Area Investment Holding Co., Ltd. hold 37%, 10% and 2% respectively. According to the preliminary calculation of the proportion of the project capital in the total investment, Baiyin Nonferrous Group Co.Ltd(601212) invested about 1.57 billion yuan.
The announcement shows that the 200000 ton high-grade electrolytic copper foil project needs to be completed by stages. According to the plan, the current electrolytic copper foil production capacity of the project is basically 30000 T / A. the phase III 40000 t / a project is under construction, and the production capacity will reach 70000 T / a by the end of 2022. In the future, another 130000 tons of production line will be built, and the overall 200000 tons of high-grade electrolytic copper foil project is planned to be completed in 2025.
The data show that from January to September 2021, Gansu Defu has produced 9527 tons of various types of copper foil, realized a sales revenue of 907 million yuan and a profit of 159 million yuan.
The reporter noted that the lithium battery copper foil project constructed by Gansu Defu was a key investment attraction project signed and introduced at the 24th Lanzhou Fair held in 2018, and officially started construction in Lanzhou New Area on July 5, 2018. At that time, the construction content of the project was “building a high-grade electrolytic copper foil project with an annual output of 50000 tons”. In August 2019, Gansu Defu phase I copper foil production line with an annual output of 10000 tons was put into operation. The main products include four series: 12-105 microns for PCB and 5-9 microns for power battery.
It is worth mentioning that the production technology capacity of Gansu Defu mainly relies on Jiujiang Defu, the major shareholder.
Statistics show that Jiujiang Defu, established in 1985, is mainly engaged in the R & D, production and sales of electronic copper foil. The copper foil products are mainly used in the two industries of printed circuit board and lithium electronic battery. In 2017, the company’s technical team successfully developed 6 micron lithium battery copper foil products with high tensile strength. The production technology has been approved as a major scientific and technological R & D project in Jiangxi Province and has promoted mass production. It is reported that its main downstream customers include Byd Company Limited(002594) , Contemporary Amperex Technology Co.Limited(300750) , Gotion High-Tech Co.Ltd(002074) , Shengyi Technology Co.Ltd(600183) , LG chemistry and other well-known enterprises at home and abroad.
