It is understood that at the end of 2020, Changjiang Pharmaceutical Group signed a large-scale health industrial park project with Ningxia Guyuan municipal government, and plans to invest 1.3 billion yuan within five years to build a large-scale and characteristic traditional Chinese medicine trading market and a high-standard GMP traditional Chinese medicine decoction production base centered on Guyuan and radiating the West, so as to build Guyuan’s high-quality medicinal resources into high-quality products and promote them to the market.
According to Wang Hao, the first phase of a 20000 square meter standardized GMP pharmaceutical workshop has been completed. All equipment has entered the site and is being organized for installation and commissioning. It is expected to be put into operation smoothly in May, with an annual output of 5000 tons of ordinary traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, refined decoction pieces, powder and freeze-dried decoction pieces, and an output value of 400500 million yuan.
“Freeze drying technology is key, and customers know its value.” According to Yang Zhenghui, general manager of Ningxia Industrial Park, as early as the beginning of the project, the company’s R & D team and a biological enterprise in Chengdu jointly launched the R & D of freeze-dried decoction pieces. In the early stage, the R & D of Chinese herbal medicines such as medlar, Gastrodia elata, Panax notoginseng, Dendrobium candidum and Cistanche deserticola has been completed. The trial production of Ningxia medlar will also be carried out first.
It is understood that compared with the traditional drying, drying and boiling, freeze-drying is carried out under low temperature and vacuum. Therefore, the loss of volatile components of drugs is small and the water solubility is excellent. In addition, due to the high dehydration rate, it is convenient for long-distance transportation and improves the stability while maintaining the drug properties.
“Good traditional Chinese medicine, good medicine is the premise.” Luo Ming, party secretary and chairman of Changjiang pharmaceutical, said that traditional Chinese medicine materials run through the whole process of R & D, production and clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine.
