Zeng Qinghong, deputy to the National People’s Congress and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co.Ltd(601238) chairman of the board of directors, proposed a proposal to amend the relevant provisions of the road traffic safety law and promote the faster development of intelligent driving at the two sessions of this year, as well as five suggestions to accelerate the development of China’s automobile chip industry chain, improve the subsidy policy for new energy vehicles and promote the localization of automobile industry software. With regard to improving the subsidy policy for new energy vehicles, Zeng Qinghong suggested delaying the state subsidy for one to two years, simplifying the early subsidy receiving procedures, alleviating the financial pressure of enterprises, and considering the strategic direction adjustment of the subsidy policy for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles at the national level in the new period, so as to achieve the purpose of “boosting consumption and encouraging construction”.
