In 2019, Wu fan, who studied in Germany, returned to his hometown Hefei and founded Hefei Sino German innovation center, an international service platform with the theme of Sino German enterprise cooperation and exchange. Today, the center not only attracts and incubates a number of science and technology enterprises for Hefei high tech Zone, but also links international resources for local companies.
In recent years, Hefei Sino German innovation center has actively explored the Wuxi Online Offline Communication Information Technology Co.Ltd(300959) docking mode to understand the high-tech zone The park provides policy guidance and settlement services. So far, the center has attracted and incubated more than 40 innovative technology companies.
Hefei Fengchuang mask Co., Ltd. is a cooperative foreign-funded enterprise of Hefei Sino German innovation center. It settled in Hefei high tech Zone in 2017 and invested more than 1 billion yuan to establish a 10.5 generation FPD mask project. The project not only improves the localization supporting capacity of the mask, but also improves the industrial chain construction of Hefei display industry cluster.

Talking about the development in recent years, Wu Fan said that this is the most challenging and stressful job he has experienced. There is no experience to follow. There are few similar models and platforms in China, and the hardships of entrepreneurship are obvious. “The establishment of the Sino German innovation center itself is innovation and an” adventure “. Since the establishment of the center, it has often been busy until more than 2 o’clock at night due to the time difference with Germany. The internationalization level of Hefei is constantly improving and the future can be expected.”
At present, Wu fan is actively connecting with several well-known universities in Germany. In the future, he will use the first-class teacher team of German universities, entrepreneur student resources and advanced science and innovation technology to promote in-depth exchanges between Anhui and German enterprises, do a good job in think tanks and cultivation services for enterprises “going global”, and help enterprises match overseas cooperation units. “We have prepared the cooperation project with German University for more than half a year. At present, the cooperation mode is basically clear. It is expected that the project can be implemented in the middle of 2022.”
Wu fan believes that 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany, which is a very rare opportunity for China Germany relations, especially Hefei and even Anhui’s cooperation with Germany. “The Sino German innovation center will always adhere to the concept of win-win cooperation, scientific and technological co creation and humanistic empathy, help Sino German enterprises cooperate and contribute to the international development of their hometown.”
It is reported that Germany invested US $330 million in Anhui in 2021, mainly in the auto parts and accessories manufacturing industry. Ten German funded enterprises were newly established, with a year-on-year increase of 100%, mainly in manufacturing, scientific research and technical services.
