Release of the world’s first self driving vehicle road collaborative data set

According to our comprehensive news, yesterday, the world’s first vehicle road collaborative automatic driving data set dair-v2x based on real scenes was officially released to provide domestic users with download and use. The data set is jointly released by the Intelligent Industry Research Institute (air) of Tsinghua University, Beijing high-level automatic driving demonstration zone, Beijing Car Network Technology Development Co., Ltd., baidu Apollo and Beijing Zhiyuan Artificial Intelligence Research Institute. The data set released this time realizes the innovation of 2D and 3D annotation methods from the joint perspective of vehicle end and road end for the first time in the same time and space. The data set released this time comes from 10 kilometers of real urban roads, 10 kilometers of expressways and 28 intersections in Beijing’s high-level automatic driving demonstration area, including 71254 frame image data and 71254 frame point cloud data from vehicle end, road end camera, vehicle end, road end lidar and other multi-type sensors, covering sunny days, rainy days, foggy days, days and nights Rich scenes such as urban roads and highways. Compared with data sets containing only single or single ends, the dataset provides multimodal data with simultaneous interpreting of the terminal and the road joint at the same time and space, and provides the fusion annotation results from different sensors in the joint view, which is used to better serve the research and evaluation of vehicle routing synergy algorithm. In addition, the data set effectively reduces the construction cost of the data set through innovations such as semi-automatic self-learning vehicle road collaborative 3D fusion annotation method.
