The positive response of the capital market has further strengthened the effect of enterprise empowerment and Rural Revitalization.
Industrial prosperity is the primary task of Rural Revitalization. The construction of advantageous and characteristic industrial clusters will help to lead the high-quality development of rural industries. The “No. 1 document” specifically mentioned that we should promote the construction of modern agricultural industrial parks and strong agricultural towns, cultivate advantageous and characteristic industrial clusters, and continue to support the establishment of a number of national demonstration parks for the integrated development of rural industries.
Through research, we found that in recent years, industrial clusters have been formed in many places, and listed companies have accelerated the construction of market integration by continuously opening up the upstream and downstream of the agricultural industrial chain. The development of industrial clusters has laid the foundation for the development of China’s agricultural modernization and provided conditions for the high-quality and rapid development of listed companies.
For example, Hunan, a major province of agriculture and agricultural machinery, lists the agricultural industrial chain as one of the 20 key industrial emerging advantageous industrial chains in the province, builds an agricultural machinery equipment innovation and R & D center in Changsha, and encourages the development of characteristic agricultural machinery production clusters in Changde, Chenzhou and Shaoyang. At present, the scale of industrial clusters in the above regions has grown rapidly, the industrial chain has been efficiently integrated to achieve joint development force, and the output value has increased continuously, which not only leads the industry, drives the region, but also improves the business vitality of the company. At the same time, compound, high-performance and intelligent modern agricultural machinery and equipment has become a new bright spot and trend in the development of agricultural equipment.
In addition to the agricultural machinery and equipment production clusters in Hunan, distinctive agricultural industrial clusters have sprung up all over China in recent years. It can be summarized into three main development modes:
First, establish agricultural industrialization clusters through the survival mode of agricultural industrialization, such as the cluster of production and service enterprises such as vegetable production, vegetable wholesale and seed production in Shouguang, Shandong, and the agricultural, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery industry cluster in Dong’an, Guangdong, which has formed five advantageous Shenzhen Agricultural Products Group Co.Ltd(000061) scale clusters of freshwater products, livestock and poultry products, forest fruit and vegetable products, special economic products and grain, cotton and oil products.

Industrial clustering and enterprises are interdependent and mutually beneficial. The author believes that in the current complex economic environment, listed companies should not fight alone, but should develop in a stronger and faster direction with the help of the advantages of industrial clusters.
First of all, enterprises should aim at the main business, strengthen scientific and technological research and development, and research and develop supporting products targeted, so as to form a unique competitive advantage in the whole industrial cluster; Secondly, enterprises should constantly improve product quality, forge brand influence and become trusted and reliable strategic partners in industrial clusters; Thirdly, enterprises should pay attention to industrial coordination, strengthen and extend the industrial chain, and make their own way wider; Finally, listed companies, as the cornerstone of China’s economy, should stand in the overall situation and play a role. With a variety of industrial clusters as the carrier, they should explore the innovative mode of coordinated development of the whole industrial chain, which plays an exemplary and leading role in China’s industrial transformation and upgrading.
2022 is destined to be an extraordinary year. Document No. 1 requires that new progress be made in Rural Revitalization and new steps be taken in agricultural and rural modernization on the premise of firmly adhering to the two bottom lines of ensuring national food security and avoiding large-scale return to poverty.
