Recently, the national development and Reform Commission, the central network and information office, the Ministry of industry and information technology and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the implementation plan of the computing hub of the collaborative innovation system of the national integrated big data center, agreed to start the construction of National Computing hub nodes in 8 places, including Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and Macao, Chengdu and Chongqing, and planned 10 national data center clusters. So far, the overall layout design of the national integrated big data center system has been completed, and the “counting from the east to the west” project has been fully launched.
By building a new computing network system integrating data center, cloud computing and big data, the “Eastern digital computing and Western computing” will orderly guide the computing needs of the east to the west, optimize the construction layout of the data center and promote the collaborative linkage between the East and the West. Generally speaking, it is actually to transmit the data generated in the eastern region to the western region for storage and calculation. Therefore, China’s high-performance distributed database with completely independent intellectual property rights will become the most important core basic software of “counting from the east to the west”.
As a strategic project in China, the “counting from the east to the west” requires that both the data storage and data processing capacity must be independent and controllable. Similarly, as a database carrying data storage and data processing, it must also be completely domestic, autonomous and controllable.
According to incomplete statistics, at present, in the process of promoting information innovation and localization substitution by the state, a large number of basic software based on simple repackaging of foreign open source software and falsely claiming its own intellectual property rights have penetrated into many industries of key information infrastructure in the country. The barbaric growth of fake domestic products and fake innovation is bound to cause major long-term national security risks. It has dealt a huge blow to the scientific and technological innovation of China’s truly independent intellectual property rights, cut off the path of China National Software And Service Company Limited(600536) enterprises’ healthy development to the world, seriously affected the national reputation, and further highlighted the importance of genuine domestic products.
At present, there are few real domestic databases with completely independent intellectual property rights and no open source code of American databases in the market. The reporter found that the self research rate of sundb database code under Kelan company has exceeded 98%, which is a rare domestic database in China that simultaneously undertakes authoritative testing and certification outside China (testing by the Ministry of industry and information technology and the people’s Bank of China; international database authoritative certification tipc-c and TPC-H testing), in a true sense and completely independent intellectual property rights.
The official launch of the project of “counting from the east to the west” is bound to bring unprecedented major opportunities to Kelan’s domestic database with truly independent intellectual property rights.
