Amid the roar of construction machinery and firecrackers, the construction of relocation resettlement housing project in Wujiaba toad mountain area undertaken by Kunming company of China Railway Eighth Bureau officially started on February 20.
Kunming Wujiaba toad mountain area relocation resettlement housing construction project is located in Guandu District, Kunming, with a total investment of about 7.4 billion yuan. The total planned land area is 413 mu, divided into 8 plots, with a total of 65 buildings, ranging from 1 to 34 floors and 5.4 to 99.5 meters in height. The project undertakes the task of resettlement housing in the core area of Wujiaba with an area of about 1.37 million square meters. After completion, it is of great significance to promote the development of Wujiaba area, supplement the shortcomings of urban supporting infrastructure and living environment, and promote the construction of Kunming as a regional international central city.
It is reported that the Wujiaba area, the future new urban center of Kunming, is the “bridgehead” of Kunming. Kunming Wujiaba area comprehensive development project has a total planning area of 28.86 square kilometers, including 15.87 square kilometers of core area and 211000 planned residential population. The central park planned to be built in the area covers an area of 5070 Mu and will become the first central public park in China and the fourth largest CBD city in the world. The comprehensive development project of Wujiaba area includes four sub areas, including central park area, dianying area, Xiaodong Village area and Toad mountain area. Toad mountain area is the centralized resettlement area of the whole Wujiaba area.
Since winning the bid of the project, Kunming company of China Railway Eighth Bureau has quickly established a capable technical team, made careful planning, in-depth construction investigation, and made full preparations in terms of technical management and resource allocation.
