The netizen said, “now, when browsing content with mobile browser, some applications often pop up the window to recommend apps. For example, when using apple Safari browser, Baidu will recommend you to download apps for browsing, as well as post bar. You must download apps to browse all comments. I hope the government can rectify this behavior.” In this regard, the Ministry of industry and information technology replied on February 21, “with regard to the relevant issues raised by you, our department will conduct in-depth research, pay attention to them according to the next work arrangement, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of users.”
