The construction of Beijing Tangshan intercity railway was officially started in 2016. It is an intercity high-speed railway serving the Bohai rim and Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. The total length of the line is 148.74 kilometers, with a total of 8 stations. The temporary line starts from Beijing Sub central station and ends at Tangshan station in Hebei Province.
It is reported that the beam erection of Beijing Tangshan intercity railway is planned to be completed in May this year, and the joint commissioning and test will be started after the track connection is realized in mid June. It is planned to be opened within the year. After the opening, it will improve the transportation service level of the sub center, form a rail transit network in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei together with the surrounding rapid passenger transport network, build a "Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei on the track", drive the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and take the lead in breaking through in the transportation field.
The person in charge also introduced that the comprehensive transportation hub project of Beijing Sub central station, the largest underground comprehensive transportation hub in Asia, is planned to complete 40% of the total project by the end of this year and is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2024.
In February and April this year, the double track shield machine of the ground entry reconstruction project of Beijing East Sixth Ring Road will go through the sub central station. After the completion of the project, the sub central station will enter the stage of comprehensive construction. It is understood that after the opening of the station, it can reach xiong'an New Area in one hour, Capital International Airport in 15 minutes and Beijing Daxing International Airport in 35 minutes.
