According to Qu Yuanyuan, chief animal husbandry and veterinary physician of the Provincial Department of agriculture and rural areas, seven ministries and commissions including the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas recently announced the list of the seventh batch of national key leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization, and 20 agricultural enterprises in Guangdong were listed, including Lehe Food Group Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Huangsha aquatic products trading market Co., Ltd.
In addition, with the approval of the people’s Government of Guangdong Province, 166 enterprises including Guangzhou Lvyun Food Co., Ltd. were newly identified as key agricultural leading enterprises in Guangdong Province in 2021. So far, there are 1292 agricultural leading enterprises above the provincial level in Guangdong (including 87 national key leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization).
In recent years, Guangdong has focused on the construction of agricultural leading enterprises, improved the supporting policy system, increased financial support, strengthened financial investment support, improved the mechanism of linking agriculture with agriculture, promoted innovation, entrepreneurship and prosperity in the field of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”, trained agricultural entrepreneurs and professionals, and took multiple measures to promote the expansion and strengthening of agricultural industrialization leading enterprises.
