The reply made it clear that Shaoguan Data Center cluster should pay close attention to the construction goal of the starting area: the average shelf rate of the data center should not be less than 65%; The power utilization efficiency index of the data center is controlled within 1.25, and the utilization rate of renewable energy is significantly improved; The network realizes dynamic monitoring and data network coordination, significantly improves the service quality, and improves the construction of supporting facilities such as electric power, which can meet the business needs of “East data and West calculation” with high quality; A number of typical demonstration scenarios and applications of “counting from the east to the west” have been formed. The reporter learned from Shaoguan development and Reform Bureau that according to the requirements for the construction of national hub nodes, the national hub nodes in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao will establish a three-level data center spatial layout structure including Shaoguan Data Center cluster, urban data center and edge computing, national hub nodes in the western region and other data centers outside the province. Among them, Shaoguan Data Center cluster will upgrade the network level to the national backbone network hub node, guide the agglomeration of large and super large (more than 3000) data centers in the province, and no new large and super large data centers will be built in other parts of the province in principle. By 2025, Shaoguan Data Center cluster will be built with 500000 standard racks and 5 million servers, with an investment of more than 50 billion yuan (excluding servers and software), mainly large and super large data centers carrying low delay services (delay requirements less than 20ms), and the auxiliary parts need to be built in the Province to carry medium delay services (delay requirements 20ms-50ms) Super large data center.
At present, many enterprises plan to invest in big data projects in Shao, including China Telecom Corporation Limited(601728) , China Mobile, China United Network Communications Limited(600050) , China IDC leading enterprises and Internet and cloud computing backbone enterprises.
