On February 17, with the approval of the Ministry of culture and tourism, the report on China’s ice and snow economic development index was released at the “Key Laboratory of ice and snow tourism culture and tourism of the Ministry” of Jilin University. The report objectively analyzes the development status of China’s ice and snow economy and predicts that China’s ice and snow industry will usher in explosive growth in 2022 under the unprecedented ice and snow economic effect released by the Beijing Winter Olympics
This report is the first comprehensive report on the ice and snow economic development index in China. The Key Laboratory of ice and snow tourism culture and tourism of the Ministry of Jilin University has completed more than 70000 words after a large amount of research on the ice and snow economic market for more than a year. It covers ice and snow tourism, ice and snow sports, ice and snow equipment, ice and snow culture and ice and snow related industries.
According to the analysis and prediction of the report, in the few years since Beijing’s bid for the Winter Olympics, China’s ice and snow economy has doubled in 2021 compared with 2016. China’s ice and snow economy will continue to maintain a strong and sustainable development momentum in 2022. China’s ice and snow economy will grow by more than 30% month on month in 2022, which is expected to triple the growth at the beginning of the 13th five year plan.
The report also pointed out the unbalanced development of the ice and snow industry, especially the lagging ice and snow equipment manufacturing industry.
