On February 15, Ningbo Orient Wires & Cables Co.Ltd(603606) announced that recently, the bid winning results of the “220kV and 35kV submarine cable procurement and laying project of Mingyang Yangjiang Qingzhou four seas wind farm project” were publicized, and the company was determined as the final bid winner. The bid winning products were 220kV and 35kV submarine cables and laying projects, with a total bid winning amount of about 1.39 billion yuan. The project is located in the sea area near Shaba Town, Yangxi County, Yangjiang City. The planned installed capacity of the project is 500MW. It is proposed to arrange 61 wind turbines, including 59 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 8mW and 2 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 16.6mw. The project is equipped with 220kV offshore rising voltage station and 220kV onshore centralized control center. The power generated by the wind turbine generator is connected to the offshore booster station through 35kV collecting submarine cable, and then connected to the onshore centralized control center through two 220kV submarine cables to realize overall transmission.
Recently, Ningbo Orient Wires & Cables Co.Ltd(603606) has frequently received project orders. Last month, the company announced that it had received the letter of acceptance successively, and the total bid winning amount of the project was about 1.01 billion yuan, including about 440 million yuan for land cable system and 570 million yuan for submarine cable system.
