The Hang Seng Index fell slightly by 0.07% on the 11th, led by insurance stocks

The Hang Seng index opened slightly lower on the 11th and maintained a sideways shock in the morning. There was a wave of obvious decline after the opening in the afternoon, but the rebound in the end narrowed the decline, and finally closed at 24906.66 points, down 0.07%. On the daily line, the Hang Seng Index stood above the line for half a year for three consecutive trading days, the first time since the end of June last year. The Hang Seng Index rose 1.36% this week, with a turnover of HK $660.9 billion.

The state-owned enterprise index closed down 0.06% to 8784.39 points; The Hang Seng technology index fell 1.23% to 5597.05.

In terms of constituent stocks, Tencent holdings fell 1.53%, meituan fell 2.23%, Alibaba rose 0.16%, Xiaomi group fell 1.31% and JD group fell 1.06%.

In terms of sectors, mainland insurance stocks rose sharply, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company Of China Ltd(601318) , China Life Insurance Company Limited(601628) both rose by more than 3%, Haidilao rose another 4.4%, rebounded by more than 20% in two weeks, leading the rise of Hang Seng Index blue chips.
