Early spring in agriculture. On the morning of October 10, Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Jinshan people’s government and Shanghai Agricultural Science and technology service center jointly hosted the Shanghai grain, oil and crop seed industry scientific and technological achievements exhibition and scientific innovation roadshow. In this activity, 11 new varieties of Japonica rice, fresh corn, double low rape and new seed engineering technologies were selected and introduced. Agricultural enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta signed six outstanding achievements in the Yangtze River Delta roadshow center in Fengjing town, providing a number of new varieties and efficient supporting technologies (Systems) for the high-quality development of crops in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
In recent years, Shanghai has made great efforts to promote the high-quality development of agriculture and modern seed industry. For example, Shanghai’s first Japonica Rice Variety “Shenyou 26” approved by the state, the high-quality hybrid Japonica Rice Variety “Shenyou 28” with outstanding comprehensive resistance, the first National Gold Award variety of high-quality japonica rice taste “husun 1212”, the health function characteristic variety “youtangdao 3”, the high-quality red corn variety “huhongnuo 1”, and so on.
It is understood that since the 13th five year plan, Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences has approved (registered) 50 new varieties of grain and oil crops, of which 12 rape varieties such as “huyouza 19” and “hubai 1” have passed the national registration, and 11 special maize varieties such as “Hutan 2” and “Shenkebao 6” have passed the national approval. It has obtained 41 national plant new variety rights and 54 authorized patents. The transformation of these achievements is expected to produce significant social and economic benefits during the 14th Five Year Plan period.
All of the 11 important achievements promoted this time adopt the trading mode of “base price + commission”, and six varieties are signed on site, including five high-quality rice varieties, one fresh corn variety and two rape varieties. The minimum base price is 300000 yuan and the maximum is 1.2 million yuan. The contracting parties agreed that taking the Commission of market promotion as an important agreement of the contract is conducive to give full play to the enthusiasm of all parties and help scientific research institutes and enterprises jointly expand the market and industry.
