Successful application of Baosteel pipes in the country’s first million ton CCUs project

Recently, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation(600028) announced the full completion of China’s first megaton CCUs project (Qilu Petrochemical Shengli Oilfield CCUs project), in which Baosteel low-temperature pipe and 13Cr high alloy pipe were successfully applied. After the completion of the project, it can reduce carbon dioxide by 1 million tons per year and increase oil by 2.965 million tons in the next 15 years. It is currently China’s largest CCUs whole industry chain demonstration base and benchmark project. CCUs specifically refers to carbon capture, utilization and storage.
